Our Gauges use both PSI and Bar pressure readings. Bottom Mount 1/4 male NPT connection Liquid filled gauges are ideal for hydraulic, chemical, petrochemical, compressors, pressure wash, and other applications. For measuring water, oil, gas or any medium not corrosive to brass or phosphor bronze. The liquid helps reduce pointer vibration and flutter. For best results when selecting a gauge, choose a calibration pressure that is in the middle range of the gauge (between the ten o'clock and two o'clock position of the dial). Remember to prick a hole or cut the tip off the vent plug to bring the internal pressure back to atmospheric pressure. Please ensure all gauges are mounted upright to avoid fluid leakage.
